site is dedicated to the international
cooperation between cities of Buffalo, New York, USA, and Rzeszow,
Poland, as part of the Sister Cities International,
a
global citizen diplomacy network.
The Buffalo
Rzeszow Sister Cities, Inc. (BRSC) held a general membership
organizational meeting on Sunday, March 15. BRSC is one of several city
of Buffalo sponsored international sister cities relationships. The city
of Buffalo cooperates with Washington based Sister Cities International,
a global citizen diplomacy network, in promoting the mission of these
groups and their international relationships.
The highlight
of the Sunday meeting was the election of officers as well as Board of
Directors. The following were elected: President, James Serafin,
Vice-President, Hon. Michael Pietruszka; Treasurer, Mary Jane Wajmer;
Secretary, Elizabeth Opoka; and Board of Director members Aniela Baj,
Therese Clarke, John Medwid,and Andrzej Ogiba.
